Halloween is back on Alegria Avenue, Sierra Madre!

I cannot believe that a year has already passed.  For those of you that aren’t aware, Alegria Avenue at Baldwin Avenue in Sierra Madre is absolutely bonkers on Halloween!  The tradition, started by Bud Schweitzer 40 years ago, has turned into the largest City event of the year.  We are expected to have 10,000 visitors on Halloween night.  At my house we give out between 4000-5000 pieces of candy.  Both ends of the street, between Baldwin Avenue and Mountain Trail, are blocked off with Police cars/barricades and boom lights.  Officers also patrol throughout the street all night so it is very safe for children.  The street is open and you are free to roam.  It looks like the L.A. County Fair it’s so crowded!

For all of my family and friends who don’t have plans, come on by.  The wifey is making homemade chili with all the fixings, cornbread, chips, dips, brownies, cookies, beer, soda, etc.  Stop by and say hi.  Message me if you need the address.

Take a peek below at what people are setting up.  It is amazing the level some people take Halloween decor to.  A safe and fun evening to all.

For the past nine years, I have lived in Sierra Madre, raising two girls and a thriving small business with my beautiful wife. Over those years, I have learned that anything worth doing is a challenge, so I got comfortable with rolling up my sleeves. The Real Estate market has transformed drastically over the last five years. While other career realtors were leaving the industry, I doubled down, working with the award-winning Dilsaver Group to navigate the changing landscape. Working through those difficult times bolstered my ability to problem-solve, and to find dynamic new ways to reach buyers. * At the end of the day, Real Estate is the business of Homes. What makes a house a home is different for everyone. For me it’s a place to get away from life and be with family. It’s a big backyard and spending weekends puttering around it, feeling the sun on my face. Every home is full of stories. Understanding that is paramount to finding the right buyer. Our homes are the witnesses to first steps, quiet victories, old friends, They are where we become families and become ourselves. Selling your home is the beginning of a new chapter. I look forward to helping you get started.

Alegria Street is the best Halloween event in Los Angeles. Period. No one in the county should miss it.
